Discovered in the Fog: A Foggy Night in London-Town

So, another deadline has come and gone... I'll leave it to Douglas Adams, who says it best: "I love deadlines. I love the whooshing sound they make as they fly by." (Seriously, he is my spirit animal.) Also seriously, I hope this isn't _too_ far past the deadline...

Discovered in the Fog - clearing away now!

DiscoveredInTheFog Banner

What a brilliant start to 2019, and a nice way to get through the glums of January after the joys of Discovered on a Midnight Clear! There were nine foggy-Pros-y posts altogether - thank you to everyone who took part in Discovered in the Fog!

If you missed any of the posts (and there was even a story that snuck in today, just before Pago Pago time!) then you can use the fog tag to catch up, or find the banner on the User Info page (when I get it up) or just come to [livejournal.com profile] discoveredinalj and have a slow scroll downwards.

Now - let's see if the sunshine's coming out again... *g*

Discovered in a Valentine II - Ten Years Later!

Being all proactive this year and everything, I thought we might go for Valentine's Day as a challenge in February - and when I looked to see how long ago it was we'd posted the first one, it turns out to be ten years ago today! In fact if I get a wriggle on, I'll get it almost to the minute - 18.50 on 1st February 2009!

Here's what it looked like ten years ago...

It's taken us three years to build up to being able to do this to the lads, but finally, at long last, the Challenge we know you've all secretly been waiting for...

Discovered in a Valentine!

It's pink! They're pretty! And on the 14th of February, they will be...

Well, what they will be... )

Pretty much the same rules apply today too - so what do you reckon? Will you send us all a Pros-y Valentine's treat via the comm, between now and the end of Valentine's Day (14th February) - midnight in your own time zone (or that of Pago Pago, of course... *g*)

Oh - and the banner was made by [livejournal.com profile] empty_mirrors all those years ago, but if anyone would like to update it for us, that would be fab too... *g*

ETA - and archiving is as current, of course - so sad that we've lost two of our dedicated Pros archives since this challenge, but we still have the brilliant Pros Lib (and if you haven't got a copy of the CD, I highly recommend it!) and of course there's AO3 too. Stories and so on will be archived here at the comm too, via the challenge banners on the User Page. It's fun to go way back and read the stories and posts and see the art and vids and all sorts that people were making!
