Yeah, that was one of the initial images that drew me to the story. I wanted that sense of a momentary...breaking, in a way. He'd been holding it together, and then he just needed to...leave.

I'm not sure what that says about my character.
Well, I'm the one who writes them, so hey! *g* It seems them, though, doesn't it? At least, my version of them. I can just hear Doyle saying that.
