Re: Noble Sentiment's Alphabetical Prosfic Quotes Challenge!

BUT, despite having to adhere to all the letters of the alphabet I take great pleasure, and, dare I say it, pride, in managing to choose quotes from favourite stories i.e. I didn't have to compromise my own preferences.

You did a fabulous job! Not only was it great fun to try and identify the sources, it was impossible to do without rereading beloved old-favorites - and revisting old-favorites is something that never fails to make the day brighter!

One of the things that made it so interesting was that while there's a substantial overlap between your favorite authors and mine, there's sometimes variance as to which story by a favorite author is chosen or, within a mutally-shared favorite story, which quote speaks the loudest.

Knowing that you'd selected those stories that resonated with you (and very nice job combining that with the alphabet order!) did make the task a bit easier, I must say. Since I've been reading the Nobel Sentiments posts since you started them, it did mean that certain stories were closer to the forefront of my memory than might have otherwise been the case. *g* But, all were honest identifications - no cheating!

Thanks again for the quotes quiz - and for the Noble Sentiments' posts that I always enjoy!
