You're right about the words and images bouncing off each other. I had some interesting times while working on this - times when I'd have words which I couldn't leave behind, that I had to find the perfect image for. Then at other moments I'd have the perfect image, an image so wonderful that I had to include it, but couldn't find the words to fit with it... They have to click, somehow. I'm not sure that I succeeded in every case, but I tried to. Sometimes I had an urge to make a big footnote and say things like "Ummm, you see, the part where he smiles, that happens in the millisecond after this look on his face, right?" Oh well - I know that we all have great imaginations, and we all can 'see' the possibilities.
