This is wonderful - I so so love it when Bodie is capable and clever. And brave in ways that are not limited to the physical. You have to get up pretty early in the morning to outwit Marge, I think, and he does it beautifully - and I like the way he gives the present its full impact, but makes it clear that it is a present, freely given, not a barter. Your Bodie and Doyle deserve each other, because they both deserve the best!

Oh, and I love the whole sawdust riff! You capture their voices so well. Stories like this are the best xmas present ever!
