Despite all the fab fiction there is I've never felt so bad for Raymond before, never wanted to beat that Bodie around the face with a wet haddock before. Doh! He's beautifully dim, but Ray is even more beautifully lovelorn. And I just love the two of them crammed into doorways together .. Thanks for this complete gem, and for introduction to that haunty music. And yay for bitter melancholy!
