I wasn't going to participate, given the chaos that is my life at present. But then byslantedlight  extended the deadline. And, um, I sort of had this idea that would not let go.  I admit I was going for...intensity--and writing it was wonderfully cathartic.  So, I offer no apologies!  Well, okay, maybe a small apology.
