Discovered in the Christmas Tree: Day 28. Post 1 of 4. The Night before Christmas.

I will be posting four times today. Each post contains a poem (three tongue-in-cheek and one serious) by me, and a number of icons, which you may take, alter, etc. (Credit and comments would be good.) Post 3 will be a response to today's prompt (paper chains).

Many thanks to [livejournal.com profile] kat_lair and [livejournal.com profile] pushkin666 for the beta, and to [livejournal.com profile] trialia for advice on how to post icons in a sensible fashion.

Discovered in the Christmas Tree: Day 28. Post 2 of 4. Questions and Answers.

Using one of [livejournal.com profile] grey853' fabulous banners here! I have them set up as a slideshow on my desktop...

This post is the 'serious' one. It's a question and answer poem with two 'voices' - no apologies to anyone (because it's all my own) and no disclaimers because it could be about anyone, but we know it's about the lads! I wanted to have the alternate verses 'offset' to stress the two voices but LJ and I couldn't agree about the coding so you'll just have to cope!

Thanks to my betas as in the first post. And again, take the icons and feel free to play with them!

The next post will be back to fun and games!

Discovered in the Christmas Tree: Day 28. Post 3 of 4. Paper Chains.

This was my prompt picture.

Have two clerihews - short and sweet but on topic...

The icons that go with this post are a joint effort. [livejournal.com profile] shooting2kill made lovely banners/headers and very kindly allowed me to play with them to make icons. If you take and use, credit her!

This post is earlier than I'd intended and the final post might or might not be somewhat delayed because my husband has just announced that we are going out... however, I promise it will be with you before midnight GMT!

Discovered in a Christmas Tree: Day 28. Post 4 of 4. Auld Lang Syne.

And finally...

I'm hoping that lots of Pros fans will be singing along with this version instead of the usual one on Saturday night... I chose 28th so that you'd have time to learn it. There will be a test.*g* Meanwhile, feel free to take the icons and alter them if you want.

Thanks to my betas again, and thanks to you all for making this a really exciting Pros-y holiday season, through fics and recs and pics and comments and prompts and just being around.
