You killed off Charlie! Oh, poor Charlie...although he seems happy enough. I loved the crosswords line. *g* And this is nicely tantalizing...ack, and I have to go out for a bit. I'll be back in a half hour, I think. But, in the meanwhile, I really liked this:

Charlie watched him roam, his gaze measuring. "So naturally, a bloke like that will let a little thing like his best mate tearing into him roll right off his back."
Yeah! You tell him, Charlie!
