Great use of contrast - the silver bus and the party spirit as against the darkness of the underworld; the different attitudes, formed by earlier careers, to informers; the way Bodie thought it was no big deal to go and confront someone and Doyle knew there were problems. I enjoyed 'knowing' that there were dangerous things going on beneath the surface jollity!! Well written, but of course we expect that from you!
