There's just so much to like about this! You carried across the experience of a concussion just perfect - I knew exactly what was wrong with Bodie, even if he didn't.
And so many great lines - "Bodie didn’t want to be the alternative to fear." I liked that one. I also liked the way he wouldn't let Doyle say anything about it, and the fear they both felt about losing each other and about taking that last step. The fear of dying/almost having died seemed to take second place to the larger issue of what they mean to each other and can they acknowledge it.
