Excellent story! I loved the strong sense of place, with the dislocation of time. So many good lines, I hesitate to quote any, but I loved: “Hang a left, he says. Don’t tell me .... you just happen to’ve done the Knowledge as well as everything else.” That's one post-CI5 job I don't think anyone's proposed -- taxi driver!
