Oh this is just gorgeous. Somehow autumn/winter lend themselves perfectly to Bodie and Doyle as the older lads you've presented here. Lovely atmosphere, and just some exquisite touches - the candle in the church for Cowley, Bodie - and Doyle's - reaction to church( which feels spot on, btw), and Doyle's observation about the stars, past and present.
