Hard to add anything to what others have already said - this was a perfect follow-up to "Fire". Things are seldom clear cut in real life, and this story shows that so well.
I agree with the "sex-while-injured" thing, but this was more of an affirmation, really, and as such convincing. Good thing Cowley didn't arrive any sooner, though :)
