And yes, Heat-Trace..... altogether now, one long sigh......I'm still bowled over by it. The bit I love about that quote is Bodie commenting on the way the light catches the colour of Doyle's hair - I *love* that kind of under-stated erotic/sensual writing which I can immediately visualise.

I made a conscious effort this time to try and have a mix of older and more contemporary writers so I hope it paid off.
