Thanks. That whole art=distance concept intrigued me, in fact the whole passage is great for a slash writer, but it was too long to use in full. Basically it's all about how, the more mechanical the description of sex, the less effective it is. So I was playing with that a bit, too (which I suppose is why I was a bit uncomfortable with the last line). Basically, I was just amusing myself, really! :)
