Well, this read like poetry and I thought it was beautiful. And, may I say, I think it's a classic example of your writing at its very best e.g. manipulating words, creating powerful images and lots of atmosphere. And I particularly liked the image you've created of them lying in bed, curtains open and the glow from Bonfire Night lighting up the room, and with no effort required on my part I could *see* that room and see into Bodie's nightmares. (A bit like looking into the flames of a fire).
