Oh, I'm so glad you liked it. Thank you! I've been playing a bit with having Ray's words (typically pretty fierce) and his actions (far gentler--particularly with Bodie) work in opposition. One of the things I love best about Doyle is his temper, yet he's not a cruel man. Most especially when it comes to his partner. :-) So, I'm very pleased you liked that last bit.
