Sorry, byslantedlight - there is no way I'm going to make the deadline for Discovered on a Hard Drive.

Bugger.

What with Nattercon, and musters, and Pros-y friend visiting - it was all great, and fun, and I really enjoyed myself... and along with everything else, I have too much to write rather than too little! Hence the missed deadline. So there will be a new SP fic, hopefully of a respectable length, at some point...

Unless of course my betas throw it back at me with cries of 'Don't you dare post this, it's awful!' - which is something that frequently happens to me in nightmares, but hasn't yet in real life (No, I'm not going to think 'there's always a first time' - I'm not!)

Back to Paris, OK?

Ooh, I got two apologies! No worries - and no need to apologise either, I have my own abject failure to deal with... Not even Pago-Pago time will save me... *sighs* Ah well - next challenge, perhaps...

Well, but you definitely deserve more than one! *g* Apology, that is. I've gone back and put it under a cut in my lj, because I realised after posting it that it really belonged on Dialj and not my personal lj. Hopefully it's not cluttering up people's flists so much now!

And as for 'abject failure' - you did produce that brilliant charity fic to order, that seems to me to be ample reason for not making the deadline with this one!

Well you can, but you really really don't need to! There's no commitment, no such thing as a no-show at discoveredinalj, honestly! It's all about getting fic in our flists now and then, not feeling bad because we didn't make it! (Okay, I need to kick myself about feeling guilty too, don't I?! *g*)
