Well, it's been (literally) years in the making, but I've actually, finally managed to finish this... ...the sequel to Two on A Treasure Island (in my older lads universe):

Hee! And well done, you! I'm catching up myself - though I think I've just read the two stories I had left, so yeay, I can wait eagerly for today's! Mind you, no one else was inconsiderate enough to post a very long story, so it was easier... *g*

I have finished AND I enjoyed it very much! What lovely Lads at Christmas, with little pieces of intimacy and getting to know things about each other that aren't CI5, and concern that they're making the right decision, and all the worries about new plans and so on,... And what an interesting host of local characters to get to know:). I like the way you had different ones pick up parts of Timmy's story as well: Joanna ordering Bodie out of the kitchen (made me laugh, that did), Brooklyn being out in the cold from lessons... There is possibly a coda or A/N needed about Red and her gang - I know she's the macguffin/scarlet fever substitute, but I'm intrigued now, not quite satisfied with "the Minister" having caused it all - who are they & what do they want? *g*.

Oh yeay! *g* I'm chuffed that you know the Five well enough to spot the Two, too - that was part of the fun of writing it! *g*

I must admit I hadn't planned to wrap up Red at all, cos she was based on a real-life character from the time, and was/(presumably) is ongoing... though she might have popped up again for the lads... Hmmn - a coda... I'll see what I can do - or see where the third book goes! *g* The notes of course were Uncle Quentin's secret formula (hmmn - perhaps I should have brought the WCaStS formula back into it actually - I wish I'd thought of that when I started it a couple of years ago! Oh well!), and in the book we never find out why the villains are pinching it, just that they're villains and they are pinching it, so i sort of followed that with my story too - but you could be right, we're all a bit more mature than the average Five reader, so we want a bit more... and it's not much use there being the more in my head... *g*

I am just being demanding *g* and of course I like the sound of a third book/story. Hope 2015 inspires!
