In the nick of time, just before midnight... sort of... *g*

Well, it's been (literally) years in the making, but I've actually, finally managed to finish this...
...the sequel to Two on A Treasure Island (in my older lads universe):

Two Go Adventuring Again

I'm going to save this one for later, because I want to go back and read them all in order. And I can save them to my Kindle!

The reading list is dangerously increasing...
We are at the retiring at least. Why do I have the impression it won't be a quiet one?

mmmh, I shouldn't think in italian while writing in english :-)
I meant "their" retirement won't be a quiet one.
I'll probably be 150 years old before I retire, our lovely politicians are taking care of it. ;-)

Thank you! Oh my, it's big, just the way I like 'em! I'll have to save it for a day or two, but thank you! Something to look forward to... *dances*

I am sticking to the plan of reading all the days in their proper order, so I can't start on this yet, wah! Maybe tomorrow. But congratulations on finishing and posting!

I have finished AND I enjoyed it very much! What lovely Lads at Christmas, with little pieces of intimacy and getting to know things about each other that aren't CI5, and concern that they're making the right decision, and all the worries about new plans and so on,... And what an interesting host of local characters to get to know:). I like the way you had different ones pick up parts of Timmy's story as well: Joanna ordering Bodie out of the kitchen (made me laugh, that did), Brooklyn being out in the cold from lessons... There is possibly a coda or A/N needed about Red and her gang - I know she's the macguffin/scarlet fever substitute, but I'm intrigued now, not quite satisfied with "the Minister" having caused it all - who are they & what do they want? *g*.

I am just being demanding *g* and of course I like the sound of a third book/story. Hope 2015 inspires!

Oh my goodness, I love your older Lads!
And a sequel to your Treasure Island!!
Oh please, please, please let there be snow again tomorrow, that way Mr. Maus will be shoveling and the little Maus sleighing......
Maybe I'll just tell them to go make their own breakfast and don't wait for me......
Or I'll just readm they'll get the picture!

Sooo looking forward to reading it!!!

A wonderful addition to your "Older Lads" series. I especially loved (melted actually *g*) at the scene in the pub that Doyle has taken Bodie to for a special dinner.

I do read very quickly - always have. Sometimes, in the case of a good story, that isn't always an advantage - I get through them too quickly! *g* And yesterday I found myself on my own with the family and holiday visitors off to see a movie that didn't interest me - so the timing was perfect for a long indulgence of the lads!

[PS, I hope you enjoyed the reading you just finally caught up on!) *g*

Wow, well done! These be the fruits of NaNo I suspect :D

I guessed it was NaNo too!

Well done on getting there! And, grin, long stories like this are where AO3 comes into its own, I think - so much nicer to take the story away with you and curl up in a corner (cupboard? :)) with it, than to be glued to a computer screen.

Of course, you do eventually need a connection again, to say so...

*emerges blinking from cupboard corner happily*

I am so looking forward to reading this when I get some time to myself. A warm fire, my feet up, a quiet house, a glass of Bailey's. I am waiting for the *right* time. :) I have enjoyed this advent calendar so much.
