Discovered on a Silent Night - Day 28
My turn! *\o/*
A quick thank you to everyone who's gone before me - it's so lovely to have Pros-y goodies turning up every day - and to the indefatigable byslantedlight for
getting us up off our collective bottoms organising us yet again this year.
Once again, I've failed to write - try to look surprised *g* So here's some pretty lads instead - as per usual, I can't get 'em to look festive. I've tried bribery, I've tried threats, but they still insist on looking mean and moody. But you're used to them that way. *g* Oh, and if I've got the hang of this, click to make them bigger...
This started off quite bright and Christmassy, but took a left turn down a bumpy track and pitched up looking somewhat lethal. Um, sorry? *g* Not so much Silent Night, more the lads lurking dangerously up a dark alley. Ah well...

Well done and thank you for sharing all of these.

Thank you for the beautiful treat!

Phew! I had to post'n'run without checking to make sure I hadn't done anything daft... *mops brow*
I'm so glad you like them, especially as they decided to be completely un-Christmassy. Thank you!

Thank you! I wish I could make them look a bit more cheery and festive, but they will insist on brooding.

Thank you - I'm so glad you like them... I do start off thinking I'll find them silly hats and festive jumpers, and this is where I end up. Every. Time. *headdesk* *g*

Thank you! And yes, I love that image of Doyle too - his eyes are perfect in it. Goodness, me obsessing on Doyle's eyes? That's a first *g*

Thank you so much - and phew! I had to post and dash out, so I was wondering if I'd managed to hit all the right buttons! I'm just sorry they're such solemn images yet again - I set out with every intention to slap them in Christmas jumpers, and this is what pops out instead!
I'm using an incredibly ancient and eccentric version of Photoshop - the poor thing really ought to have been laid to rest years ago, but it insists on staggering along. Much like myself! *g*

Thank you! I deeply wish I could get them to look even half-way festive... maybe I need to bribe them with something more persuasive? Babycham? *g*

I can see why people are saying 'spirit' of Doyle, but I am thinking more that he is back at HQ - or somewhere - co-ordinating via radio, and he knows Bodie is out there, and he knows Bodie is entirely competent, and Bodie knows Doyle is too, but they can't help it, they're still thinking about each other...
And the last one - how different Bodie looks in each of those, despite the same image! Wow! Interesting quote, quite bunnyish...
Thank you!

Thank you so much - I'm really glad you like them... now if only I could get them to look festive. Just once! *g*

Thank you - and thank you for all your encouragement - it really is appreciated!
One of these days I'll get the lads to look a teeny bit festive, but until then I'll have to make do with festering *g* The Dire Straits quote is dying for somebody to write a fic to it, isn't it? I started something ages ago, but it fell over with a thud, so I thought I'd at least give the lyrics an outing. Maybe, one day!

Thank you so much - and sorry for the late reply... Life! *shakes tiny fist upwards*

Thanks babe - I'm really glad you like them. *beams*

Hee! I'm so glad you enjoyed them... I got so cross with them when they refused to be Christmassy, but I guess I just haven't got it in me - my lads are doomed to pout and look moody *g*

OMG, no! Let's not go there - before you know where we are, the elves will get in on the act, and then all bets are off!

Thank you!

Thank you! I'd love to write, but then again, I'd love to get cheery, happy lads with eggnog and mistletoe... ah well! *g*

LOL - I love to bits the way people see the same thing in totally different ways *g*
Thank you for the lovely comment... I get deeply annoyed when I'm incapable of making the lads look even slightly festive. You should hear me arguing with them. Um... or possibly I didn't ought to mention things like that. :D
I love the image of Bodie in the last one - that hard-eyed stare into the camera does happy things to me every time - so it was nice to be able to play around with him, um, it... I enjoyed myself way too much!

Thank you! That first one was the one that gave me the most grief, and I was still poking at it like a sore tooth the day I posted... Grrr!

The first one is warm and cosy. The second one is a bit cooler, more "prosaic" (or how would you call it? *browses through the english dictionary*), but Bodie still wears a bit of colour, and Doyle is always in his mind. The last one - I think I enjoy the golden one most, I like the combination of gold and grey, still the other two are looking pretty, too.
Thanks for the delightful pics and a Happy New Year to you!

What beautiful Christmas visions! I love the sense of history and nostalgia in the first one. Oh my! Bodie's attitude and Doyle's gaze over a wintry background are doing my head in. I also like the progression of textures and colour in the last one.
Just gorgeous!

Thank you! And sorry for the late reply - sometimes I think LJ hides things from me!
We've had so many lovely things on the calendar this year - January is going to seem very lacking!

Your snaily icon makes me grin every single time!
And thank you for your lovely comments - I'm so glad you liked them all... one of these days I'm going to shock myself and manage something that looks faintly cheerful!

Thank you! I'm pretty much doomed to never get them looking anything other than mean and moody, but they pout so prettily I try not to mind too much *g*

Thank you so much! I'm a bit stuck in the vision of you rolling about in wrapping paper *g*, but Happy New Year! I hope it's going to be a grand one for you.
