My turn! *\o/*

A quick thank you to everyone who's gone before me - it's so lovely to have Pros-y goodies turning up every day - and to the indefatigable [livejournal.com profile] byslantedlight for getting us up off our collective bottoms organising us yet again this year.

Once again, I've failed to write - try to look surprised *g* So here's some pretty lads instead - as per usual, I can't get 'em to look festive. I've tried bribery, I've tried threats, but they still insist on looking mean and moody. But you're used to them that way. *g* Oh, and if I've got the hang of this, click to make them bigger...

xmas 2014 mellow

xmas 2014 dove grey

This started off quite bright and Christmassy, but took a left turn down a bumpy track and pitched up looking somewhat lethal. Um, sorry? *g*  Not so much Silent Night, more the lads lurking dangerously up a dark alley. Ah well...

Pretty pictures! I like grim and moody, so these suit me.*g* I love the colors in the first one, and the lads looking serious but gorgeous. I love the sort of guardian aspects of the second one--Bodie standing vigil over London, Doyle's spirit? hovering over all. Well, it makes sense to me, anyway. *g* And, ooh, gorgeous third one, with snow and Dire Straits and, again, luscious colors. Thank you! These are great!

They are all great, but I like the ones with the gold and silver textures best. Very christmassy! :-)

Brooding is good. It suits them. ;-)

I love all these images, just how I like 'em, all broody and mean! They are all great but I think the first is my fav although the thought of them lurking dangerously in a dark alley really floats my boat! Thanks for sharing :)

mean, moody, lethal, dangerous - that would be our lads! doesn't matter the season. These are terrific, Snail! I love your style - the colors and the textures. My favorite would be the second one. I've always loved that image of Doyle. [We seem to have the same taste in "Doyle" !]

Well done and thank you for sharing all of these.

Very pretty indeed - I particularly love the Dire Straits one. What programme(s) do you use to do luscious things like these?

Thank you for the beautiful treat!

These are all absolutely gorgeous - I particularly love the blue, gold and silver together. And they seem perfectly Christmasy lads to me :D

Completely gorgeous! I love the different colours used for each, and the subtle gradation of the images. The one of Bodie with Doyle watching over him is just super. :))

D'you know, somehow that last one with the Dire Straits lines is very plot-bunny-ish... Love the colours, too, and the shining simplicity of it... And I still love the second one - Doyle's gaze in the sky above London! Which is really more plot-bunnies, but I'm not sure I want to go there! And hee for the mean moody lads over the pretty Christmas pic of the first image too - so Christmas-y, but the two sides of a CI5 Christmas, rather like the lavender and roses that they keep safe for us, and all in the background of it themselves... Good job they're always there together! *g* Thanks for these, they're gorgeous, all! *g*

(PS - hee, thank you for getting off your bottom! *vbg*)

These are wonderful - thank you very much. Brooding lads are fine and dandy. I think my favourite is the London one - no, the blue, gold and silver one. Then again, I like the image of B&D as the silent protectors of Santa Claus *g* - oh, I dunno, they're all marvelous!

Brooding even. Broody might be an AU too far. *g*

Oooh, fabulous! I am all for dark and dangerous and concealed while watching from alleyways, oh yes.

I can see why people are saying 'spirit' of Doyle, but I am thinking more that he is back at HQ - or somewhere - co-ordinating via radio, and he knows Bodie is out there, and he knows Bodie is entirely competent, and Bodie knows Doyle is too, but they can't help it, they're still thinking about each other...

And the last one - how different Bodie looks in each of those, despite the same image! Wow! Interesting quote, quite bunnyish...

Thank you!

The first one is my favourite. I really like that old-fashioned, Victorian vibe. Christmas Lads are the best, aren't they?

Again, a lot of lovely pics to end the year! Thank you so much for sharing, and for making those delicious pics. And I do love them brooding!

I like every colour in every wallpaper!

The first one is warm and cosy. The second one is a bit cooler, more "prosaic" (or how would you call it? *browses through the english dictionary*), but Bodie still wears a bit of colour, and Doyle is always in his mind. The last one - I think I enjoy the golden one most, I like the combination of gold and grey, still the other two are looking pretty, too.

Thanks for the delightful pics and a Happy New Year to you!

Oh now that last one is particularly mean & moody - of course I love it *g*. They are all happy-making, thank you!

If there's one advantage to being late for crimble, it's the avalanche of presents waiting for you (and the mountain of wrapping paper to thrash about in). :D

What beautiful Christmas visions! I love the sense of history and nostalgia in the first one. Oh my! Bodie's attitude and Doyle's gaze over a wintry background are doing my head in. I also like the progression of textures and colour in the last one.

Just gorgeous!
