Drabble challenge

I don't usually do this kind of thing, so, well, you know, have mercy and all that. :)

A Throw Away Moment.

“Ray, you’re not serious?”

“Deadly serious.”

“That’s not fair.”

Foreboding silence.

“You can’t do that.”

“Like I said, your choice.”

“Did your mother get you up early every morning to practice being a total bastard?”

“Yep.”

“Explains a few things.”

“Well, Bodie?”

“Come on, Ray, have a heart? Just touch it. Feel how soft it is?”

“I’m not going near that bloody thing, it’ll bite me. When was the last time you washed it?”

“I can’t, it’ll shrink. Look, give me your hand.”

Ensuing tussle.

“Bodie. No!”

“You’re no fun, you know that?”

“Tough!”

“OKAY, okay! The fur throw goes!”

The End

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! That's pure genius! I so hate that bloody dead sheep. There have been suspicions that Bodie might have woven it from Doyle's old winter fur *VEG*

Haha, brilliant!
Very clever, and I love that line about Doyle's mother! Hee!

I hope Doyle takes out his gun and shoots that thing! LOL! Thank you for the giggle. Great line: “Did your mother get you up early every morning to practice being a total bastard?”

This is so clever and laugh aloud funny - well done! And this line is brilliant: Did your mother get you up early every morning to practice being a total bastard?”
:big grin:

Foreboding silence heh! Would love to know what else caused ructions when they set up house together *g* Although I actually like the furry thing ... nothing else would go so well with Bodie's bedhead ...

Stoppit! Stoppit already! This is supposed to be a working weekend for me ::gnashes teeth, tears out hair, does a few more lines of actual work and sneaks back for another peek::

I love this. My excuse is that laughing does the serotonin thing improves quality of work (bloody certain it doesn't do anything for the quantity). And that convinces nobody but me .... oh well!

Also love that line about Doyle's mother!

On second thoughts, don't stoppit. I want more!

*Giggles*

Such fun.

LOL. It is such a tacky seventies bachelor thing, that throw. I adore it.

Ahhhh!! Lol! I was cracking up before, but when I got to this line:

“I’m not going near that bloody thing, it’ll bite me. When was the last time you washed it?”

I knew you were playing with our assumptions, but that one's hilarious regardless of whether you know you're reading about the throw, or you're still envisioning something more, er, personal of Bodie's. ;-)

Thank you!

Oh I love that throw! I mean, just imagine Bodie naked against it, so smooth against the pile, so hard against the soft... *g* But this made me giggle, and that was fun too! Thank you!

[identity profile] magenta-blue.livejournal.com 2007-09-22 05:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Heh! I was wondering at the 'feel how soft it is' comment... *G* Nice one, cheers!

ROFL - wondered where you were going with this. Fab.

I'm with Bodie on this; Doyle's being a right bastard. Not only do I like that fur throw, I HAVE one - in my guest bedroom which is decorated seventies-style.
Good fun drabble, though. I like the way we're guessing up to the very last line.

*still giggling*

*g* the horrible fur thing ..... that was brilliant !
I can't stop laughing (and my colleagues throwing strange looks at me *g*).
I remember having one of these in my room, on the floor, not on the bed. Really no wonder Bodie got problems with his sinuses *BG*

Thanks for this one, you really made my day, emmm evening *sniggers helplessly* I think I better finish work now ...
