Drabble challenge
I don't usually do this kind of thing, so, well, you know, have mercy and all that. :)
A Throw Away Moment.
“Ray, you’re not serious?”
“Deadly serious.”
“That’s not fair.”
Foreboding silence.
“You can’t do that.”
“Like I said, your choice.”
“Did your mother get you up early every morning to practice being a total bastard?”
“Yep.”
“Explains a few things.”
“Well, Bodie?”
“Come on, Ray, have a heart? Just touch it. Feel how soft it is?”
“I’m not going near that bloody thing, it’ll bite me. When was the last time you washed it?”
“I can’t, it’ll shrink. Look, give me your hand.”
Ensuing tussle.
“Bodie. No!”
“You’re no fun, you know that?”
“Tough!”
“OKAY, okay! The fur throw goes!”
The End

I can't say I actually like the dead sheep... um, throw, but to me it is as much part of Bodie as Doyle's green t-shirts are part of him.
Thank you! Glad you liked it. :)

I love this. My excuse is that laughing does the serotonin thing improves quality of work (bloody certain it doesn't do anything for the quantity). And that convinces nobody but me .... oh well!
Also love that line about Doyle's mother!
On second thoughts, don't stoppit. I want more!

I knew you were playing with our assumptions, but that one's hilarious regardless of whether you know you're reading about the throw, or you're still envisioning something more, er, personal of Bodie's. ;-)
Thank you!

Good fun drabble, though. I like the way we're guessing up to the very last line.

*g* the horrible fur thing ..... that was brilliant !
I can't stop laughing (and my colleagues throwing strange looks at me *g*).
I remember having one of these in my room, on the floor, not on the bed. Really no wonder Bodie got problems with his sinuses *BG*
Thanks for this one, you really made my day, emmm evening *sniggers helplessly* I think I better finish work now ...

As I said to someone earlier. My friends mum had a huge rug on the floor that was just like Bodie's throw I remember lying on it watching the tv at her house, and yes, it was a dusty bugger. So it would have done his sinuses no good at all. LOL
Thank you, SO glad it gave you a giggle, and made your evening.
