Discovered In A Sky Rocket

Remember, remember the fifth of November,
Gunpowder, treason and plot…

Sounds pretty much exactly like a day in the life of CI5 if you ask me… and thus the next dialj challenge – Discovered In A Sky Rocket.

There are two possible parts to this challenge!

Either:

Once more, post-as-you-please-on-the-day of the challenge, any creation based around Guy Fawkes Night (and I know there is some fic out there – yeay!)

or:

Firework Drabble Challenge
If you fancy something more in the way of inspiration, request a prompt below and you will be given the name of a firework/s on which to base a drabble/s (or fic, if you feel so inclined)! Eg. Golden Lion or Giddy Aunties In A Spin (no, it’s an actual firework *g*). We thought it might be nice to have some little bursts of Pros, especially since there isn't much time between Halloween and Guy Fawkes Night...

As usual, please sign up by commenting below if you’d like to take part (although we certainly won’t reject surprise last-minute contributions either!)

I see no reason, why gunpowder treason
Should ever be forgot…

Oh, I was very disappointed on Saturday when LJ was down and there were no Bonfire stories at all but wow, has today been different! Haven't had such a satisfying afternoon for ages - sad, me!?!
Haven't you had some great entries? Whatever next?? Advent? New Year? By the way, I notice from the Blue Mountain site that the 5th November is National Doughnut day in the States - now there's a thought for next year - just the time for Bodie to visit the US of A!!
Or perhaps Pancake day? Why do these foods make me think of Bodie? Goes away giggling!

Duh! Ignore the previous waffling - not being at work I had forgotten the date!! Since our Town Bonfire was on Saturday, I'd forgotten that was being held a day early, until I just wondered to myself quite why so many people were letting off their own fireworks tonight - as I say, brain disengaged, sorry to all those prompt folk posting on the right day!!! Still grand stories, though!
