Discovered on a Silent Night – Day 26 - Two Go Adventuring Again
In the nick of time, just before midnight... sort of... *g*
Well, it's been (literally) years in the making, but I've actually, finally managed to finish this...
...the sequel to Two on A Treasure Island (in my older lads universe):

We are at the retiring at least. Why do I have the impression it won't be a quiet one?

I meant "their" retirement won't be a quiet one.
I'll probably be 150 years old before I retire, our lovely politicians are taking care of it. ;-)

You're right too, I don't think our lads are going to have a very quiet retirement - it wouldn't be them if they did... *g*

Oh wow! And wheeeee! And general leaping up and down-ness! \o/
Thank you! Oh my, it's big, just the way I like 'em! I'll have to save it for a day or two, but thank you! Something to look forward to... *dances*

I must admit I hadn't planned to wrap up Red at all, cos she was based on a real-life character from the time, and was/(presumably) is ongoing... though she might have popped up again for the lads... Hmmn - a coda... I'll see what I can do - or see where the third book goes! *g* The notes of course were Uncle Quentin's secret formula (hmmn - perhaps I should have brought the WCaStS formula back into it actually - I wish I'd thought of that when I started it a couple of years ago! Oh well!), and in the book we never find out why the villains are pinching it, just that they're villains and they are pinching it, so i sort of followed that with my story too - but you could be right, we're all a bit more mature than the average Five reader, so we want a bit more... and it's not much use there being the more in my head... *g*

And a sequel to your Treasure Island!!
Oh please, please, please let there be snow again tomorrow, that way Mr. Maus will be shoveling and the little Maus sleighing......
Maybe I'll just tell them to go make their own breakfast and don't wait for me......
Or I'll just readm they'll get the picture!
Sooo looking forward to reading it!!!

Well done on getting there! And, grin, long stories like this are where AO3 comes into its own, I think - so much nicer to take the story away with you and curl up in a corner (cupboard? :)) with it, than to be glued to a computer screen.
Of course, you do eventually need a connection again, to say so...

Hope it works for you! I've got to say, I still much prefer paper to my Kobo, but it's true that I prefer my Kobo to an ordinary computer screen for reading fic, so - all much easier to curl up with, where ever that might be!
