Discovered in a Marathon

![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
The London Marathon is next weekend, Sunday 26th April, but there are always stragglers, so the challenge deadline will be Thursday 30th April for anyone who'd like to take part. The comm is open to anyone who fancies posting a story, picture, vid, drabble, icon, poem, song, thought, review... well anything really, that is inspired by both our lads (or even the lasses) and the very general theme marathon. It doesn't have to be the London Marathon, that was just my starting point - it could be running-inspired, or you could get all historical, or anything you like, however tenuous your connection. *g* Post any time you like up until midnight in your time zone on Thursday 30th April.

There's lots more, all listed on the comm's user info page, if you'd like a browse through lovely Pros things anyway... *g* Scroll down to find the banners - clicking on any of them will take you to the posts for the challenge.)
Right - here's hoping people might fancy a run... or our lads running... *g*

Anyway thank you for posting a lovely idea, and I hope people are in the right meat-and-headspace to do stuff!

And rats that you won't have time to participate - that's very definitely a shame... I shall hope you find find minutes while the cat's busy with a mouse, for even a drabble, or a wee dozen lines of your Bodie and Doyle, cos I've missed them!

And yeay maps - thanks for that! Pre-so many things, like Canary Wharf... though that always makes me glad for what is still left...

For the first time ever, I am going to watch, because a friend is running in it (marathons bore me rigid - I wouldn't be going otherwise!) So I hope to soak up some atmosphere and hopefully that will inspire a ficlet :))
ETA: PS - love the banner! :))
