Like Jojo, I loved the CI5 world you wrote, the laddishness of it all. I really got a sense of their daily lives. I am an absolute sucker for well written domestic Bodie and Doyle - Christmas Day was spot-on. The sense of something building, no treacle, and some cultural references that placed it perfectly. And you wrote the tussle over the TV Guide brilliantly. Very enjoyable.
The action too, was smartly paced and episode-like. This particular exchange is priceless,and I think, my favourite. Such a Bodie thing to say and do!: What kept you?” Ray sounded winded as he ducked a wild punch from the second assailant still standing.
“Oh you know… Had to... Wash me hair…” Bodie twisted the arm viciously as he spoke; finally hearing the knife clatter to the ground
