Discovered in a Livejournal

A long time ago, in a world that seems far away, a year-long Pros Challenge was posted - and that year is nearly up! The Pros Bingo Challenge ends on the 30th November, so there are now just over two weeks left to fill squares on your Bingo Card. There were eleven Bingo players way back in January, plus one Community card - and here's the current state of play (if I've forgotten/missed anyone, please let me know!).

Here's our Community Card - five squares filled, thanks to dawnebeth, macklingirl, merentha13, loxleyprince and fiorenza.

solosundance has managed a whole line of five squares, making her our current Pros Bingo Champion

Finally, fiorenza has completed two of her own squares, and I've only managed one - though I have managed one!

There are eight other Bingo Cards out there still that I don't think have squares filled in yet, and it would be fab if a few more of them could manage to have one square filled in... and I dunno about anyone else, but I'm completely a deadline-girl, so I'm going to keep trying for the last couple of weeks, and see if I can manage some more!

Don't forget there's the Pros Community Bingo Card too - dawnebeth was the first person to fill in a square on the Pros Community Bingo Card, closely followed by macklingirl. I know fiorenza_a has several squares filled on her card - and I have one square filled on my own card. I'm feeling quite inspired to remedy that, somehow... Anyone else? There are ten Pros Bingo cards out there somewhere, and it would be nice to see some more Pros Bingo fills on the comm before 30th November! And of course if anyone wants to aim for a two-liner, four corners, or even a full-house... *g*

I'm a bit excited about this - inspired by a rather fab picture that was posted to my lj in a comment this morning, I actually sat down and began writing, and I actually carried on doing so all day, until I'd finished a wee fic! And then I realised that it also fit one of the prompts on my Pros Bingo Card, which I've neglected shamefully so far this year, and... well, this is a fic for loxleyprince, with her picture included in the right place (and I hope you don't mind me doing that, loxleyprince). It's a historical AU, with apologies to anyone who might actually know about the High Middle Ages, and with hopes that it's at least vaguely still our lads... It's almost my first Pros historical AU (complete, anyway), apart from a Jack the Ripper crossover snippet from years ago, so it's a bit worriting, and like I say, the 1000s aren't exactly a period I'm familiar with, but... but that's enough rabbiting on. Here 'tis. *crosses fingers* *g*
