I can't believe I'm saying this again, but... that's the end of our Dialj Christmas Challenge for this year - Twelfth Night has been and gone, the calendar is chock-full of wonderful things, and... it's time to pack everything away again... *sniffs sadly*

Thank you so much to everyone who joined in this year, whether you created, read, wrote, drew, commented, browsed, lurked, or just generally peered in now and then to see what was going on... Aren't the lads ace? Isn't the Pros-y world fab? And wasn't it fun? *vbg*

I'll copy the Challenge Calendar into this post as soon as my co-mod sends it to me, and make sure that everything's tagged up and linked to the User Info page as usual, so that you can always find the Challenge that way. And I haven't forgotten that I'm behind on the Dialj Bound versions, which will be on their way, I promise they will... any year now...

For people who've written fic - the Hatstand isn't archiving any more, and the Circuit Archive seems to be long-term/temporarily-we-hope out of business, so please do send your stories to the ProsLib Archivist whose contact details can be found here, and consider signing up for and posting your own stories to The Automated Hatstand. Let's not lose our fabulous Prosfic into the depths of Christmas Ljs past!

And finally... there's another Dialj Challenge planned already, it's on the tip of our tongues, and the gorgeous (I'm sure!) banner is all but ready to be unfurled, so do keep an eye out... *g*

Slightly belatedly, due to lj being down tonight (*headdesk*) - here are the answers for this year's Dialj Christmas Quiz!

The answers! The answers! )

Hi guys,

You've got me today, so here's a little offering for January 6th.

There's been a little juggling at this end of the calendar I'm afraid - below be fic that was never meant to be here, but managed to shoehorn its way into the prompt in a mad rush across several time zones tonight!

Let Nothing Ye Dismay )

Apologies to all for this being yet another offering that has nothing to do with my particular prompt. I had a lovely little ficlet all worked out before this monstrosity hijacked proceedings.

Anyway, Happy New Year, everyone. This fic is dedicated to the wonderful genre of pantomime. I didn't quite get the Dame in there, but you *can* imagine Ray in a blue gingham dress... if you really want to.

Somewhere Over the Rainbow )

Like a complete twig, I have messed my dates up and so have to post this now even though my actual day is tomorrow! My apologies go especially to [livejournal.com profile] m31andy , [livejournal.com profile] byslantedlight and [livejournal.com profile] empty_mirrors, who have had to untangle the mess I've managed to wrangle up with this. I'm really sorry, ladies! D:

I believe in Father Christmas.... )

I hope this thing uploads correctly before the bell *g*. Fic, about 9,000 words.

Here for the story )

One more Elizabeth Holden treat for today - because we should start as we mean to go on, right? With lots of lovely Prosfic to read...

Transport Cafe by Elizabeth Holden

Sweet dreams... *g*

Happy New Year everyone! I don't know where you are, but 2009 has dawned cold and grey here, and I'm feeling in need of a little... warmth to start the year off properly...

...so here's another gem from the world of Pros zines, online for the first time, by kind permission of the author...

La Fievre de la Nuit by Elizabeth Holden

And if it helps you to imagine the scene, it was inspired, as were all the stories in Night Music in B&D by this picture, by Suzan Lovett - click the thumbnail to see it in all it's glory at The Circuit Archive.

And finally, the last part. Thanks for reading, you've all been lovely, as usual *g*.

With heartfelt thanks to [livejournal.com profile] byslantedlight, who gave me a bit of inspiration.

God's Own County )

*gulp* Wow, that came around fast! My prompt was the carol "We Three Kings", one of my personal favorites, but not necessarily conducive to inspiring a rousing Pros tale. So I took my cue from the least ecumenical of the lyrics and thus I shall inflict four vignettes upon you all. Stay tuned, the first is on its way.

And so we reach the last of Ronnie’s Yuletide offerings...

Earlier we had a glimpse of the lads’ Christmas Past. Now it’s time to see their Christmas Present. And as for Christmas Yet To Come – well, I’d like to think of them enjoying a happy and healthy old age together...

Let’s raise a glass to our lads... and raise one to yourself as well while you’re at it.

Happy 2009!!

Another little fic offering...

False Assumptions )

2009 is fast approaching, and what could be better than a nice pic of the lads to see us all through the trials and tribulations of the coming year.

Here’s a little something for you to print out and keep handy –

Pros Calendar )

Oh blimey, I’m cheating again!

This is a drabble that has been lingering on my hard drive for longer than I care to remember and has never seen the light of day. There’s nothing Christmassy about it, other than the fact that it comes from me to you with the compliments of the season.

‘ang abaht, though... Supposing I ask you to picture an East End pub, where the Christmas Eve festivities are in full swing? And a couple of CI5 agents have gone there for a quiet Christmas drink... There, now it is a Christmas fic! *g*

Hi, I’m Ronnie and I’ll be your DiaLJ Caroller for today...

First up, a confession – nothing I’m about to post today bears any relevance whatsoever to my prompt for the day, for which I apologise. I hope you won’t be too disappointed.

So, I’m kicking off the proceedings with something that’s really a bit of a cheat – I actually posted this pic on my LJ last Christmas. However, as the vast majority of you won’t have seen it I’m posting it again. And anyway, I like it... *g*
