Discovered In The Mistletoe
Jan. 10th, 2007 01:01 pmWell, there's no getting away from it this time - Discovered In The Mistletoe has finally come to an end. Thank you so much to everyone who contributed, and made the Challenge even better than we'd ever imagined it could be (and we've got good imaginations *g*). People have been incredibly generous with their time and their talents and skills, and dialj has been the most wonderful place to hang around for the last six weeks. As ever, the stories and other creations can still be found here, and the quickest way to get to them is through the picture-link on the User Info Page.
We're going to leave you with a final party favour, which we hope you like, so do peek under the cut...
( One Last Thing In The Mistletoe )
Of course this isn't the end forever... Discoveredinalj will be posting more challenges, so keep your eyes peeled and your typing fingers poised towards the end of January. And I am reliably informed that the rest of the year is bubbling over with things to tickle your fancy and stimulate your desperately overworked muses. *g*
And we've always got the lads, right?
Happy 2007 everyone. And thanks again. *g*
Prosfic reprise - In The Bleak Midwinter
Jan. 9th, 2007 12:42 amPosting again on behalf of Brenda K:
Technically this is a fic reprise, as In The Bleak Midwinter was originally posted for the 2005 Santapros lj community, but it has not been seen online since, so we decided that it counted as good-as-new, especially for all the people who weren't around last year!

Jan. 7th, 2007 12:06 pmWell, we need to have the whole set and we wouldn't have it without Ray's other half, would we.
So without further ado here is our ( Tall, Dark and Beautiful ) Bodie.

Jan. 7th, 2007 11:50 amWell, none of us were ready to go 'cold turkey' just yet, were we.
So here is something else to feast your eyes on.
* Slash under the cut. Dial-up users beware*

Twelfth Night
Jan. 7th, 2007 01:27 amA little late (in UK time, anyway), but here it is. The last entry in the mistletoe challenge (so, no pressure then...)
Life hasn't been very cooperative this last couple of weeks so I'm afraid this isn't the story I was originally intending to post (that one's still not finished, but at least I've got a head start for next year *g*). This one's shorter, a lot fluffier and still a little rough around the edges, for which I apologise, but I hope it'll at least provide a few moments' distraction from taking down the decorations.
Thank you again to
byslantedlight and
empty_mirrors for creating the challenge and to everyone who's contributed. I don't know what I'll do with myself now I don't have a new entry to look forward to every morning...
So, without further ado:

They Think It's All Over...
Jan. 7th, 2007 12:01 amWell, here it is the 7th January, 2007. Twelfth Night is over, even for me, and we have had our final fabulous challenge post. Except...
Thing is, you gotta read the small print. We're not actually an Advent Calendar. And we were never just for Christmas. So when it turns out that there is extra content left over... well, there's nothing really to stop us extending, is there? Certainly not when we have three more days worth still to be fitted in... And we can't have
elizabethoshea with nothing to look forward to... *g*
And so - without further ado... we await a post for the 7th January...

Good morning!
For your enjoyment (I hope), a bit of fluff! Since it is me writing, there is, maybe, a little angst as well. *g* Also slash. Very much slash. *g*
Thank you, everyone, for all the great stories, artwork, songvids, songlists, games, comics, and everything else!

Jan. 3rd, 2007 12:08 pmIn which ... Doyle is very alluring to Miss Whiplash, Bodie goes to sea in a fishing boat, and George Cowley turns into a bear, complete with furry ears. Um. And there's kissing. Happy New Year!
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL
Jan. 2nd, 2007 01:01 amWell, this was going to be this one part. However, just because I'm like that and wanted to make you all suffer *grins evilly*, I decided to make it a two-parter. I hope you enjoy it.
