Oh well done! 'Y' is O Holy Night by Amy Morgan, also known as ......wait for it....Elizabeth Holden who wrote one of my top 3/4 favourite stories Forever True - one of those Pros stories which takes a few days to recover from, takes a few days to get back into your own world and out from their's and to overcome your (temporary) depression that you'll never find another story *quite* like that one (or, like me, you'll never *write* a story quite like that one!); and, I'm afraid, only available in zine format. I love the kind of spare language she employs while managing to hold the reader's attention as much - in fact better - as a writer who is more wordy.
