Hee - definitely my longest so far! They do seem to be getting longer and longer, but then of course they take longer to write too... But it's fun, and I'm not at all getting bored with them yet, which I thought I might... I mean, how many different ways can they have first time? Actually, it turns out, lots... *g*
‘The trivet, a pair of firedogs, and assorted ancient pokers’ – all these things make your fic so believable, ground it in realism, as a reader I so appreciate all your research I'd love to say yes, thank you, spent much time on research... but in this case the details are mostly due simply to leading a so-far longish and cluttered life... *g* And having to set that bloody fire every morning when we first moved to the Isle of Man... grrr...
