May Day Run

It's practically May Day in my part of the world, and so I'm going to plead Migraine, in order to post this a couple hours early and then take myself off to bed. I'm going to be utterly useless tomorrow (halfway there now, actually), and I'm not sure I trust myself around computers.

ETA: I meant to say, huge thanks to Slanted Light for the beta on this one. Once again she saved the lads from sounding dreadfully Canadian, and London from morphing into Eastern Ontario. Eh? (This is why I shouldn't be allowed near computers when my brain is mush...)
