I always feel so sad about this, because it's always been so fabulous, but yesterday's post was the final toy in the stocking, and today is all about tidying up... *sighs sadly*

Before I do the close-out post though, would people who posted quizzes and competitions like to post their answers today? Under cuts, please, for people who've not yet managed to have a play (I've still not managed to have a go at [livejournal.com profile] probodie's quiz, and I want to...), and perhaps mentioning the day of the challenge in the subject header, to make it easier to find?

Actually, here they are, if anyone would like one last go... *g*
The Pub Quiz one by [livejournal.com profile] probodie
The Jukebox one by [livejournal.com profile] kiwisue
The Greeting Card one by [livejournal.com profile] magenta_blue

And later there will be the final post, and linking of calendar and people and all...

Thank you! *g*

Hello!

Thank you to everyone who commented on my fic and had a go at guessing the greeting card (think that may have been just you BSL *g*). It was the first time I tried a 'quiz', sorry if I made it a bit too tricky! Answers are behind the cut (I hope), and I haven't yet had a chance to read everyone's fic, but am looking forward to replying, reading and commenting as January shivers on.  *g*

OK, the clues from my story "The Ballads of Billy Redmond" are revealed under the cut. I'm also going to edit the story to put the answers in - they'll remain "highlight to read" so anyone who would still like to have a go (first, second, third attempt etc...) can do so. And with that thought in mind, here are the instructions again, with a little more help for you all:

Within the story there are five clues (I've pretty much given you the answer to the first one). Each is numbered, so you won't have any problems locating them. Each is a song – a title, an artist or a lyric. All the solutions can be found on the Internet (Google, Wikipedia etc). Your task is to identify the songs and the artists, then use that information to work out what Billy is trying to tell Bodie & Doyle. If you get all 5 right you wind up in an interesting place in London, but you need to solve all 5 to find it.

I'll be unscreening comments later, but I have to do something about dinner first :)
