Hey, that was a nice way to start off this challenge! Excellent use of "sloth"! *g* I like it that this was, essentially, light-hearted, but there were moments of deep emotion to balance that--like Bodie's reaction to Doyle getting hit. *sigh* I've always liked the idea of putting the lads into a normal, every day sort of situation, and just watching them. How often do they get the chance to roam around, like they do at the zoo? As others have mentioned, Bodie's glee and enjoyment seem very real. *g*
And then we get the payoff of Doyle slowly realizing that, yes, Bodie is serious. I like the near-accusation of "You're straight, Bodie." Yes, well, think again. *g* Plus, okay, there's something very...satisfying...about Doyle looking down at a "panting, sweaty Bodie." *g* (So I'm strange. But, hey, they're happy *g*)
