I like the two variations on hubris See, I couldn't make up my mind.... *g* No, I did want a balance--there are, roughly, four mistakes made. *g* Doyle's initial refusal to believe Bodie's grass, which feeds into Bodie's hubris, which nearly ends in disaster; Bodie's attempt to protect himself by seeking out women, which feeds into Doyle's hubris, which nearly ends in disaster. And they both make a commitment to the partnershp and then to the relationship, which saves them. More or less. *g* At any rate, thank you for commenting!
