Wow! You've really started us off right, haven't you? This was very nice. I loved the angst and the...oh, fumbling towards full commitment. I love it that they understood each other so well--that Doyle figured out what must be behind Bodie's fear, and Bodie knew he knew. And how that, really, signaled that it was going to be okay. They trust each other, they love each other, and they know how to help each other through things. ::happy sigh:: And all wrapped up in a Christmas glow!
Plus there was the observations of the other agents--loved Murphy's looking in on the ups and downs of Bodie and Doyle's relationship. And humor! And, for some reason, I loved this: Bodie’s little black book - which was not actually black, but was instead a very nice brown patent leather with a matching pen in its own slip case That just seems right, somehow. *g*
So, thank you! Hot and sexy, emotionally satisfying and engaging...all in all a wonderful present for December 1!
