Hee! Yes indeed, the boys were enjoying Christmas 1981 :)
The Christmas number one that year was The Human League’s – Don’t You Want Me Baby, but I like being a bit subtle as you no doubt can tell, so went for highlighting Bucks Fizz and their Christmas TOTP performance of Land Of Make Believe, which was the song that finally toppled the mighty League’s five week run and became number one in Jan 1982.
All the TV listings are correct as well – spent far too long trying to find out the correct radio listings for the day as well, as was going to write DJ Whatsit was playing the Christmas songs etc while they were having dinner but ran out of time on that bit of research!
