I have a half-written (we-ll, maybe a bit less than that...*g*) thingie starting with 'thought' - maybe one of us could be a runner??

Umm, I've got an idea, which shows my ignorance of the rules of cricket, but could greengerbil and I both use 'thought'? She can score the runs and I'll be the runner?

It's just that I was thinking about 'thought' while I was cooking tea, having had a complete mental blank about any fic at all for the Test Match until this evening, so the idea had had a little time to mature.

What do the umpires think?

At least something's happening on the pitch after a rainsoaked day of watching seagulls. *g*

Post your fic! We're not really following any rules of cricket, it's just an excuse to post little bits of Pros and have them pop up in our flists over the weekend. And as you say, it's been mostly a case of gazing at seagulls on the pitch, so... please post your fic!
