I recently bought some Pros annuals off ebay and the seller was generous enough to throw in some Pros magazines for free. I've never seen these before, so I thought I'd scan in some of the pics and articles in case there are others like me :)

Definitely a nice thing to wake up to - thank you! And secondary-canon that Doyle is 5'10" tall - thank you! And green eyes too, both Doyle and MS - though his eyes definitely look blue these days... *g*

Thank you, these are lovely! My only complaint is that these silly people have forgotten to include proper partnership pics in the Doyle file (i.e. showing them Very Close Together) - clearly an essential defining element of who Doyle is!

Hee - my thoughts exactly! And I'm tired of reading that he's a "little man" too, so hurrah for seeing that he's officially 5'10"! It'll be interesting to see Bodie's/LC's height - I'm guessing it'll be 5'11"... *g*

Just the right height, imo (and it's so annoying to read about him being small or slight; as you've said before, he visibly isn't. With the result that reading about Bodie picking him up is liable to take you right out of a story, unless very carefully written for verisimilitude!). And yes, I think Bodie has about 1/2 inch to an inch on him.... um, is about 1/2 inch to an inch taller than he is. I'm sure they're both perfectly well-proportioned in all respects, and properly appreciative of each other's proportions.

I've never understood how Doyle can be considered 'small' or 'slight'. When Doyle is in his boots, sometimes he can be taller than Bodie, so I highly doubt that Bodie can just pick him up and throw him around like a ragdoll. Macklin and Towser could do that, but damn, those guys are huge even compared to Bodie!

And in Mixed Doubles, it seems to me that his arms even more muscular than Bodie's and he was the boxing champion during his Met years so, yeah ... I see them as equals even if Bodie has half an inch or so on him. Height-wise, of course. *evil grin*
