For my first offering, I have a little picture. I've recently learned how to colour black and white pics and I'm really happy with how this one turned out. (have a bit of silliness coming up after this!)

Wow. That's amazing--it captures shading and different tints. (Clearly, I have not advanced from the really rudimentary tinting done, oh, twenty years ago. *g*) Nicely done! It's fun to see this one in color!

Thanks! It's actually really neat because you just paint over the area you want to colour, set it to overlay or soft light and voila! You just have to remember to make the colour a bit darker than you want the finished look to be because it lightens a bit when you set it to overlay.

Photoshop is confusing when you first start out with it. Tutorials are good, but I have a 'secret weapon'. *g* My very dear beta is a professional graphic artist and she's very good at instructing over email. *g*
