Thank you for a lovely story. I'm not sure which part of it I enjoyed the most, but in particular; - Doyle's twists and turns as he's drawn in, deeper and deeper (and oh, dear, those broken resolutions - knew there was a reason I stopped making 'em *g*) - the tantalising past-tense reporting of what they'd done. It was very, very sexy (underlining the idea that it doesn't need to be in-your-face, here and now graphic to be hot).
I do like your Bodie, so sure of what he wants, so convincing when he says; “I swore to keep you close. Whatever it took.” I wish I had as good a touch with him as you do.
Also, I enjoyed your "inspiration while running" note :-)
