As I've been held in reserve, I'm here to post this little offering to fill an unexpected space on our gorgeous advent calendar.
Oh, I'd not thought about when/how I should give you the answers but perhaps I'll post them later, under another entry.
Anyway, there are 25 differences between the two pics... some a lot more obvious than others. Have funstaring at our lads looking for them all.
(Don't worry, I'll screen your answers for a suitable period)

Date: 2012-12-11 07:10 pm (UTC)1) There's a very spooky-looking bloke in the window of the right pic - looks a bit like Bruce Forsythe...
2) Mistletoe in the right pic as well (did you disturb the lads...? *g*)
3) A wee Christmas star just about where Doyle's nipple would be...
4) Bodie's holding a bauble in the left pic
5) ...and he's got a star for an earring in the right pic... (or is it just where he was rubbing against Doyle and it came off Doyle's other...? *g*)
6) Ooh, you can't see through one of the ornate pieces of the stonework, in the right pic (by Doyle's elbow)
7) There's a wee Christmas chicken on the stonework of the right pic, to the right of Doyle's head
8) Doyle's lost one of his belt buckle straps in the right pic (what's Bodie done with it..?)
9) Oh, and Bodie's lost a bit of his back jeans pocket in the right pic (what's Doyle been doing...?)
10) Oooh - poor Doyle's finger in the right pic! (No, I'm sure he's only bent it in a bit, and is hiding it, right...? You wouldn't mutilate him!)
11) The wrinkles in his jeans are all disarranged too, one's been smoothed out in the right pic... who did that? *g*
...erm...
12) Only one hole on Doyle's holster strap in the right pic...
... erm...25? blimey...
13) Ah, someone's pulled the blinds down in the windows to the right of Doyle's head, in the right pic...
14) ...someone's given that tree a good trim, too! *g*
15) And shifted the rock at the near-top left of the pic too (balancing on the stonework)
16) There's a wee hole in the stonework been blocked up under Doyle's arm too...
...you sure there's 25...?
17) Aw - Bodie's got a little curl in the back of his hair in the left pic, but it's been cut (or disarranged... *g*) in the right pic...
18) Oh, Doyle must be shrugging his shoulder slightly higher in the right pic, there's a bit of stonework you can't see any more!
19) And they've been mucking around against the ivy you can see in the right pic through Doyle's right arm - it's all disarranged and leaves are gone!
20) Doyle's lost his watch in the right pic... it must have come off whilst they were... *g*
...yeay I made it to 20!! *g*
21) Oh, and Doyle's gun is different... perhaps it's Bodie's, and they swapped between the two pics, getting dressed in a hurry, maybe... *g*
22) You can see through the stonework slightly differently, by Bodie's eye...
23) If you look very close to Doyle's... the bit that Bodie likes very much... you know, under his belt... *g*... you can see the stones are shadowed differently...
24)... 24!... Bodie's white hoster strap doesn't go all the way around! See, it was all that rushing to get dressed, it's all gone wrong...
25) - Wow, I've got to 25... but can I see what it is...? Erm... no. Not right now. I shall come back after dinner, full of sustenance... *g*

Date: 2012-12-11 07:27 pm (UTC)Oh my, oh my, didn't you do well? I thought some were really hard, though interestingly the one you're missing isn't one of the worst... and I just love how you've completely understood exactly why the changes have occurred. *g*
Can you see that I've correctly screened your answer because it looks just like normal to me?

Date: 2012-12-11 09:07 pm (UTC)(Although it says that my reply will be screened, and your comment was screened and I had to unscreen it to reply...Oh! I know!
You did do it right, but when you reply to someone you have to unscreen them - and then you have to re-screen the comment and your reply again (it's a right bugger). So when you've seen this (*waves to anyone else who reads - don't look at my answers!*) tick the little boxes in each comment, and you'll see something somewhere (maybe an icon of an eye, if you're on the new comment system) that you click to screen all those posts again! Hopefully that'll work... hmmn - wonder if I can re-screen, as a mod...? *goes to try*

Date: 2012-12-11 09:12 pm (UTC)I think the comments unscreened when you replied to them - so then
So all you need to do is re-screen comments after you've replied to them. If you click on the icon of the eye, under the comment, it'll come up with a message in blue at the bottom saying something like "tick all" (comments) and "Screen" as an option - do both those things, and all will be screened, and look pale grey to you. I think I can do it too as comm mod (or else maybe just to the replies to my own comment). When they're screened, the whole comment thing will look pale grey instead of pale blue.
Give me a shout if that doesn't make sense, though... *g*

Date: 2012-12-11 11:04 pm (UTC)Top left to top right:
(1) Cowley (?) in the window.
(2) Leafy bits at the top.
(3) The green stuff behind Doyle's head has shrunk.
(4) Some little white dot in the gaps between the 'pillars' on the window has gone -- the one two to the right of Doyle's ear.
(5) There's... a something on top of the stone lion. Scarily like a birdie with a Christmas hat.
Next sort of level down
(6) flat stone thing on left of balustrade has gone thinner.
(7) Bodie's starry earring
(8) Little white dot in balustrade above arch bit has gone (is that just my monitor? :)) - this is separate from (4), this one is just above Doyle's forearm.
(9) There is something different about the blank wall behind Doyle's left arm - it's blanker, somehow.
Next
(10) White strap over Bodie's holster vanished.
(11) Where Doyle's new piercing planned with a little star.
(12) Markings on end of Doyle's gun (forget name, behold my technical grasp) gone
Next layer down
(13) Doyle's ring finger
(14) Doyle's watch
Next:
(15) Some round blobby thing (hush) in Bodie's right hand - perhaps he is playing marbles.
(16) Triangular patch on Bodie's jeans gone - woe.
I refuse to check brick by brick! - so that's my lot!

Date: 2012-12-13 05:51 pm (UTC)Your no. 22 wasn't intentional but it may have been caused by me altering the hem of Bodie's jumper, which will have led to your no. 25 answer. Does that make sense?
The one I think you've missed is the fastening on Bodie's holster, holding his gun in place, which has slipped down.
Thanks for having a go.

...Unless that's what I was trying to describe in no.18? ..I could see something was different there, just couldn't explain it. Or is that one different again? *scratches head*
I'd like to take this opportunity to apologize to the masonry lovers of the world. I meant to check that before posting, but my state of spot-the-difference cross-eyedness temporarily impaired my proofreading ability. *g*
