Francis, these are lovely, but you really shouldn't have posted today - today is snailbones day to post here at the comm challenge! Your day was the one you chose - the 26th of December, and this is rather like interupting someone else when they're talking...

Please don't post anything else today, or through the challenge - if you have extra things, I'd be really happy to give you an extra day to yourself at the end of the calendar, when everyone else has had their chance, you just have to ask, either here at the sign up post (http://discoveredinalj.livejournal.com/238893.html), or via email.

Edited To Add - could you please also use an lj-cut, leaving just a couple of these showing outside, to spare people's friends list pages - it's polite not to take up too much space in people's flists for a single post.

Ah, sorry: someone asked me to show the snow balls I had promised but was unable to make for the 26 th and I said I would post them during the week-end; I saw them just as a little belated bonus.

They're a lovely bonus - but not by taking over someone else's day! If I'd seen you say that at the time, I would have let you know that you couldn't interrupt someone else's chosen date... That's what the challenge is - it's giving everyone a day of their very own to post here, especially for them, just as you had your day on the 26th.

To get the Snowflakes moving I think you need to save them as GIF file format first and then upload them. :)

If only there was just this one! I have no mean to prevent it. I was the first surprised because, as I said above, the preview shows the snow falling down, but there is no way I could save the picture as a .gif. The little software i use (you could try as well) is really not very sophisticated. But, still, why do they show in the preview something that won't appear in the final result?

Did you save the files to your computer or link from a website to post? If you save them to your computer, you can choose to save them as GIF files. Then when you upload them, they should be moving. :) If there is no button to do so, you can always Right click the images and then select Save as and you should be able to choose what to save them as. :) I hope this helps.

It was saved both to my account on the site (Glass Giant: you can try, it's free) and on my hard drive but I have not the "save as GIF" choice, because it's not possible to save the picture from the preview, only from the still frame. Too bad.
