Two pictures, one with a variation because I never can make up my mind. Try to look surprised *g*

What either has to do with my prompt of 'sultanas' I have no idea. I was kind of thinking of the lads being all brooding and protective at Christmas, unseen out in the darkness... hmmm!

Happy Christmas from a sparkly and non-brooding Snail *g* ♥

Ooh, I always like brooding and protective! These are gorgeous, with cool effects, and just the right intensity for Pros. I think that's one reason why I love Pros and Christmas so much--that intensity and, yes, brooding protectiveness, fits in well, somehow, with both the joys and bittersweetness of Christmas. Anyway, thank you! You do great work.

The dark ones are intriguing but I particularly like the wing with their faces superimposed in the feathers.

Thank you for adding something lovely to the day!

Nice pics!

Though Bodie looks a bit like he´s wearing some kind of scarf around his head in the last one.

But you got the broody and protectiveness into the pic like a Pro!
Thanks for sharing.

They are all gorgeous. From the first two I'd prefer the second one with the frame. It suits the font and the portraits coming out of the dark.
As to the third, it's also perfectly done. I love the background and how you merged the feathers with our lads. :-)

They are great! All of them!
My first love was for the first one - but the others are getting better and better and I'm not sure anymore which one I love most. :-)
(Any chance to get them in screen size 1280x1024, please? )

Oh forgotten... Not too dark at all!!!

Oh, marvellous. What a brilliant snail you are!

I love the moodiness of the first and second - but oh, all that darkness separating them, very ominous! *frets*

I only realised about the writing on the third when I looked more closely. I love the idea of the wing sweeping a great rip in reality and the lads showing through from somewhere else, which is rather how it looks to me, the winged creature (angel? bird?) coming closer and closer to the viewer. I wish I could remember who it was who was asking about depictions of the lads as angels some time ago - you and [livejournal.com profile] giseerouchon have both come up with art involving wings recently, and whoever it was ought to be really happy!

These are lovely! I think the third one is my favorite - but the second one - oh, I can't decide... I like the dark atmosphere of the first two and the colors in the third. Thanks for posting all three. You are a very talented snail!

Do you know, these actually made me a bit sad... in the top two, Doyle is moving on, leaving Bodie behind, and in the last one - well, in the last one, Bodie's an angel now. :-(
Beautiful work, to evoke such strong emotion.
