Hey, have you been to the London zoo? How did the fic match up?
I love zoos, too. On the theory that they're all pretty much the same, I based the one in this story on the Toronto Zoo and the Washington Zoo. And I did a bit of reading, to find out that the London Zoo didn't have any large mammals like elephants - they were all moved to a bigger facility outside London apparently. Or something like that.
Because elephants need to roam free. Though it would have been fun to have Croft trampled by an amorous bull elephant, after taking Bodie's advice. After all, how does an elephant know people are squishy until they've squished a few?
