I haven't had much experience trying to write the Major yet. Tis an interesting challenge. I've a bit of Scots ancestry [all of 'em rascals]; however, my attempts to capture the way he speaks likely will veer off abruptly into Appalachian Celtish. [sigh] Do we know which part of Scotland is his home turf?
Would like to write the London side of this adventure, sooner or later.
