Ooh, I've a thing for Bodie-confronting-Ann scenes! This was very satisfying. I'm glad we were in Ann's pov, knwing more than she does, and anticipating the revelation. I loved Bodie being all suave and dangerous. (Okay, so I like possessive Bodies--and Doyles. *g*) And then we get more--great depth--with part 2! I love the idea of Bodie dealing with the one thing he can control--Doyle's protection. It's just a lovely scene, that early morning conversation between them. Oh, and I wish I'd thought of "aggravated tenderness". *g* Thank you! This was a great use of "avarice".
