Thank you for this wonderful journey in the past. 1977 I was 17 years old and my twin-sister and I were sent to London to improve our language skills. We lived June and July in Kingston, in a family that celebrated the Jubilee in all its glory, including parties with lemon squash in the church hall! It all came back to me with your story and I rushed to the pone to read it to my sister. In the years that followed, we spent all our holidays in England, because we had discovered pros and they improved our language in a way, our regular teachers in school never achieved...
